After 12 years of delays and broken promises by the former Liberal Government, the Melrose Park Public School redevelopment is now underway.
Delivering on our commitment to you, this redevelopment will deliver:

32 new classrooms;

3 support classrooms;

A new large public preschool;

New administrative spaces and upgrade to site services;

A new library;

New covered outdoor learning area (COLA);

Outdoor learning spaces and play space;

A new hall with a canteen; and

Outside of school hours care (OOSH).
To support this redevelopment, a new purpose-built temporary school will open in mid-2025.
